What are EER and COP?
Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) for cooling, and Co-efficient of Performance (COP) for heating, are ratios calculated using the input power usage and output capacity of a heat pump / air conditioner. The higher the EER and COP's are, the more efficient the unit is.
