GENERAL (formerly Fujitsu General) has coated all of their outdoor unit coils with Blue Fin treatment, which will help minimise corrosion to the coil from rain and sea spray. To prevent rust on the outdoor unit, it is recommended that you wash your heat pump / air conditioner every 3 months to prevent salt build-up.
